Our recent stay at The Dolphin Bay Hotel on the enchanting island of Syros was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The Dolphin Bay Hotel provided us with a charming retreat that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the island. The hotel's serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings created a peaceful atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. Our room at The Dolphin Bay Hotel was comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Although it was not a luxurious hotel, it offered everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail were commendable, ensuring a comfortable and cozy environment throughout our visit. The delicious breakfast offered at the hotel was a delightful array of fresh and locally sourced ingredients, providing a variety of options to suit different tastes. The attentive staff ensured that our breakfast experience was enjoyable, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day. In terms of dining options, we discovered a wealth of fantastic taverns within walking distance of the hotel. Exploring the local culinary scene became an exciting part of our stay. These nearby taverns offered a wide selection of traditional Greek dishes, prepared with love and care. We highly recommend venturing out to sample the local flavours and immerse yourself in the authentic dining experience. The location of The Dolphin Bay Hotel was ideal for exploring Syros. Its proximity to charming villages, cultural sites, and the island's pristine beaches allowed us to easily discover the beauty and charm of Syros at our own pace. While The Dolphin Bay Hotel may not be a luxurious establishment, its pleasant atmosphere, excellent breakfast, and convenient location make it a wonderful choice for those seeking a comfortable and welcoming retreat. Looking for a break from the busy life of island hopping? Dolphin Bay provides the perfect respite to relax and enjoy a life of ease and comfort. Everyday feels like a Saturday… The breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant is amazing and a must when staying here. The beachfront, with its shallow, cool water and sunset views is one of the best we’ve seen as we island hop, dare I say even better than Oia’s sunset. Finally, the staff are so very friendly and willing to make our stay enjoyable with advice and accommodations starting with the manager, Dimitris, who will engage in witty conversations with his guests, or Meropi and Dionysia, the front desk attendants, who is passionate about the beauty of Syros and eager to provide advice on how best to see the sights and sounds of Syros, she encouraged us to take the public bus the City Centre. Even Costas, our restaurant server, was a font of information and conversation at breakfast. We highly recommend this resort and only wished we had booked it for more days as we island hop to our next destination.

There's even staff available to take care of the kids in the evening, which was a huge plus for us. We also appreciated that they allowed us to enjoy the hotel facilities until 7 PM, even though we checked out of our room at 11 AM. The breakfast is also really good, you can choose everything that you like. While it's a bit pricier than other options, the incredible service and amenities make it worth every penny. You can easily switch between the pool and the beach, which is ideal for families. The water slide was an absolute hit with the kids, and they loved being able to eat as much ice cream as they wanted! Everything was amazing—thank you!

It’s a great location, good distance to the beautiful beach, mini market, souvenir shops and restaurants even closer. Hotel and restaurant staff was amaizing, thank you all! Room is well equipped. Great space for couples, also kids have lots of space in the hotel, including swimming pool and a play ground. Air conditioning worked perfectly (a necessity in the heat!). We came to Syros as part of a 100+ wedding party and we were able to see some of the other accommodations - Dolphin bay will still be our first choice. - after the third time here!

The beach is very kids friendly - shallow a long way out and calm. Very decent breakfast and buffet dinner at the hotel. Restaurant is lovely - with outdoor seating and a lovely vibe. We had a lovely sea view, a decent sized balcony and were located near the lifts/stairs to reception and the pool which was very handy and idea for us with small kids. Aircon worked well. Great value for money for a week stay for a sea view and breakfast and pool with waterslide
